The third EU Investment Forum (EIF) was held successfully on 25 October, 2022 at TICC, organized by the European Economic and Trade Office (EETO), the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA). It has attracted around 400 registrations in total. In addition, we’ve received more than 50 media articles.

The event was focusing on the latest policy of the European Green deal and its opportunities for Taiwanese companies. Speakers included Ms Kestrin Jorna, the DG of DG-Grow, Mr. Richard Lee, Chairman of TEEMA for the keynote speech, and the industrial representatives from EU and Taiwan. The panel discussion was chaired by Dr. Eugene Chien, President and Board Chairman of Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy, and David Weng, CEO, Taiwania Capital. The event was conclude with the EU is seeking close cooperation with international partners to develop sustainable products and services, and also address the general legal framework on investment protection and promotion in Europe.
